TCM Campus
Version 1, October 2026

Terms and licence

These terms apply to every purchase of TCM Campus. You can save or print them from your browser.

1. Who we are

TCM Campus is published by Vakatlas, Cumulus 1, 1747 EH Tuitjenhorn, the Netherlands. Netherlands Chamber of Commerce (KvK) 72000082, VAT NL002350263B11. Invoices are issued by Vakatlas. Contact: [email protected], +31 6 20 37 38 44.

2. Who sells to you

Your order is processed by Gumroad, Inc., which acts as reseller and merchant of record. Gumroad handles payment, sales tax and VAT, your receipt and refunds, under its own terms. The licence to use the course (section 4) is granted by TCM Campus.

3. What you buy

  • A digital study course used in your browser through a personal link. The content per product is described on the product page at the time of your order.
  • With the complete course you get immediate access to all 8 modules, with 103 hours of material, through one link.
  • The print set is a PDF with the summaries and flashcards of every module.
  • The course works in a current version of Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge, on laptop, tablet and phone. Your progress is stored in the browser you study in, not on our server; it is not shared between devices and disappears if you clear your browser data.

4. Licence

  • You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use the course for your own study and professional practice.
  • You may not share, resell, publish or include your personal link or the content in your own teaching material. Teachers who want to use the course in class can email us for a class licence.
  • If a link is widely shared, we may replace it; buyers then receive a new link by email.
  • All rights to texts, schemas, questions and design remain with TCM Campus.

5. Access and updates

You keep access as long as TCM Campus exists, and at least five years after purchase. The material is continually improved and expanded based on feedback, at no extra cost. We may improve design and functionality as long as the content you bought remains available.

6. Content, AI and no medical advice

  • The lessons were written with AI assistance and checked against the structure, terminology and page references of the textbook; scientific claims were looked up in PubMed. Despite this care an error may remain. Report it and we fix it for everyone.
  • The course is educational material on the theory of Chinese medicine. It is not medical advice, not a substitute for consulting a doctor or practitioner, not an accredited programme, and it does not qualify you to treat. It contains no needling technique, point location or herbal dosage. Acupuncture and herbs only through a qualified practitioner; herbs can interact with medication.
  • The certificate confirms that you successfully completed the course: every lesson marked as done and every test (the test for every module and, with the complete course, the final test) passed with at least 70 percent; retakes are unlimited. It is not a diploma, not an accredited qualification and not an accreditation; you create it yourself in your browser.
  • TCM Campus is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by the author or publishers of The Foundations of Chinese Medicine, or any school or board. Page references refer to the 3rd edition.

7. Refunds

See Refunds: within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked.

8. Liability and law

If the course does not work as described, we fix it; if we cannot, you get a (pro rata) refund. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product, except in case of intent or gross negligence. Dutch law applies; this does not take away the mandatory consumer protection of the country where you live.
